GPSC Recruitment 2025

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has released a massive recruitment notification (Advt. No. 44/2025-26 to 110/2025-26) for the year 2025.

If you are looking for a Class-1 or Class-2 officer job in Gujarat, this is your chance. The commission has invited online applications for over 400+ vacancies, including high-demand posts like Dental Surgeon, Veterinary Officer, Administrative Officer, and Assistant Professors in Government Engineering/Arts/Science colleges.

Eligibility Criteria : GPSC Recruitment 2025

Before applying, ensure you meet the educational and age requirements for your specific post.

1. Educational Qualification

  • Dental Surgeon (Advt 102): Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized university.
  • Veterinary Officer (Advt 110): B.V.Sc & A.H. degree.
  • Assistant Professor / Lecturer: Master’s Degree in relevant subject with NET/SLET/PhD (as per UGC/AICTE norms).
  • Administrative Officer (Fisheries – Advt 50): Any Graduate with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Manager MIS (Advt 103): Graduate degree with 5 years experience.

2. Age Limit

  • General Rule: The age is calculated as of 13/12/2025.
  • Typically, for Class-1 and Class-2 posts, the age limit is between 21 to 35/40 years (varies by post).
  • Age Relaxation:
    • S&EBC, SC, ST (Gujarat Origin): Relaxation as per government rules (usually 5 years).
    • Women Candidates: Relaxation as per rules.
    • PwD / Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms.

Application Fee

Candidates must pay the application fee to confirm their seat for the examination.

  • General / Unreserved (Male): ₹100 + Postal/Online Charges.
  • Reserved Categories (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS of Gujarat), PwD, Ex-Servicemen: No Fee (NIL).

Selection Process

The selection for GPSC recruitment generally involves two or three stages:

  1. Preliminary Exam (Objective Type): A screening test to shortlist candidates.
  2. Mains Exam / Interview:
    • For some Class-2 posts: Direct Interview based on Prelims marks.
    • For Class-1 posts: Written Mains Exam + Personal Interview.
  3. Document Verification: Verification of original certificates.

How to Apply Online for GPSC Recruitment 2025

Follow these steps to apply via the OJAS portal:

  1. Visit Official Site: Go to gpsc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
  2. Registration: Click on “One Time Registration (OTR)” if you haven’t registered before. If you have an OTR number, skip this step.
  3. Apply Online: Click on Online Application > Apply and select “GPSC” from the dropdown.
  4. Select Job: Find your desired Advertisement Number (e.g., 102/2025-26 for Dental Surgeon) and click “Apply”.
  5. Fill Details: Enter your OTR number and birth date to fetch details. Fill in the remaining educational and communication details.
  6. Upload: Upload your photograph and signature. Note: Ensure the photo/sign are yours; using someone else’s will lead to disqualification.
  7. Confirm: Check all details carefully. Once confirmed, you cannot edit the form. Click “Confirm Application”.
  8. Pay Fee: Pay the ₹100 fee online or print the challan for the Post Office.
  9. Print: Print the final application form for your records.
