GSSSB has released a category-wise breakdown for the 209 available seats.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following age and educational requirements to apply for the GSSSB Junior Pharmacist Recruitment 2025.
1. Education Qualification
To be eligible, a candidate must possess:
- Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized university.
- OR
- Diploma: A Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized university PLUS 2 years of experience as a Junior Pharmacist, Dispenser, or Medical Representative in a government or pharmaceutical company.
- Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer applications.
- Language: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Registration: Must be registered with the Gujarat State Pharmacy Council at the time of appointment.
2. Age Limit (As on 30/12/2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
Age Relaxation:
- General (Women): +05 Years
- Reserved Category (Male): +05 Years
- Reserved Category (Women): +10 Years
- PH / Divyang (General): +10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 Years
Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed pay for the first five years.
- Fixed Pay (First 5 Years): ₹40,800/- per month.
- After 5 Years: Upon satisfactory service, candidates will be placed in the regular pay scale of Level-5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300).

Application Fee
The application fee must be paid online via UPI, Net Banking, or Card.

- Note: The examination fee is refundable to candidates who actually appear for the examination.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection will be based on a Competitive Written Exam (MCQ type), conducted either as CBRT (Computer Based Response Test) or OMR based.
Exam Pattern (Total Marks: 210)
The exam is divided into two parts with a composite time of 3 Hours (180 Minutes).
Part-A:
- Logical Tests & Data Interpretation: 30 Marks
- Mathematical Tests: 30 Marks
- Total Part-A: 60 Marks
Part-B:
- Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension: 30 Marks
- Subject-Related Questions (Pharmacy): 120 Marks
- Total Part-B: 150 Marks
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates must score a minimum of 40% in both Part-A and Part-B separately.
How to Apply Online for GSSSB Junior Pharmacist
Follow these steps to submit your application on the OJAS portal:
- Visit the official website: ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
- Click on “Online Application” > “Apply”.
- Select GSSSB from the list and find Advt No. 329/202526 Junior Pharmacist.
- Click on “Apply Now” and register using your basic details.
- Fill in the Educational Details and select “Yes” in the assurance box.
- Upload your Photograph (15kb max) and Signature (15kb max).
- Confirm your application to generate the Confirmation Number.
- Go to “Fees” menu and pay the requisite application fee online.
- Download and print your application form for future reference.
