Document Verification for GSSSB Accountant : The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB), Gandhinagar, has released a crucial schedule for the document verification of candidates provisionally qualified for various Class-3 posts, including Accountant, Auditor, Sub-Treasury Officer (Accountant), Superintendent, and Sub-Accountant/Sub-Auditor!
The main examination for Advertisement No. 225/2023-24 took place on February 18, 2025, and February 19, 2025. Following the exams, a list of 443 provisionally qualified candidates (Appendix-A) and 1395 disqualified candidates (Appendix-B) was published on May 31, 2025. All 443 candidates listed in Appendix-A are now provisionally eligible for the document scrutiny process.

Key Instructions for Candidates: Read Carefully! 📝
- Punctuality is Key! ⏰ Candidates must be present at their own expense for the verification of their original certificates as per their serial number, date, and time mentioned in the table. Please arrive 30 minutes before your allotted time.
- No Guarantee of Selection: Mere inclusion of your roll number in Appendix-A does not guarantee selection. The final selection list will be prepared based on the number of qualified candidates after document verification and merit scores, considering the category-wise vacancies.
- Absence from Verification: Candidates who fail to appear for document verification on their allotted date and time will be assumed not to possess the required certificates and not be interested in the appointment process.
- Proxy Attendance Allowed (with conditions): 🤝 In unforeseen circumstances, if you cannot be present for original certificate verification, a close relative (father/mother/brother/sister/friend) can attend on your behalf. However, you must send a consent letter authorizing the other person for document verification. The person attending on your behalf must carry their original identity proof. You also need to inform the Board of the reasons for your absence, and the Board’s decision in this regard will be final.
- Alternative Dates for Unavoidable Circumstances: If you cannot attend on your scheduled date due to unavoidable circumstances, you may appear any time between June 11, 2025, and June 13, 2025. Remember to inform the Board by telephone in advance!
- Document Preparation: Bring all original certificates that were submitted during your online application. Ensure that all certificates bear the signature/seal and issue date of the competent authority. Also, bring two self-attested photocopies of each certificate.
- Photographs: Don’t forget to bring two recent passport-size photographs. 📸

- All Marksheets of ITI/Diploma/Bachelor Degree
- Graduation Certificate of ITI/Diploma/Bachelor
- Caste Certificate (for reserved category candidates)
- PH Certificate (for Divyang candidates – must be original with disability percentage as per format)
- Widow Certificate (for widow candidates – recent original affidavit stating non-remarriage)
- Ex-Servicemen Certificate (for ex-servicemen – original copy of discharge booklet)
- Sports Details Certificate (if mentioned in application – original certificate from competent authority in prescribed format)
- NOC for Government Employees (if in government service at application time – original certificate of joining date/period of service and NOC)
- EWS Certificate (original, valid, and within time limit)
- Candidate’s Identity Certificate/Documents (original photo ID like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Election Card, or Passport)
- Change in Name of the Candidate (for married female candidates with name discrepancy, bring Marriage Registration Certificate, Government Gazette, or affidavit; for others, Government Gazette or affidavit for name change)
- Non Creamy Layer Certificate and Undertaking (original, valid, and within time limit for reserved category candidates)
