GSSSB Lab Assistant Recruitment 2025: Qualification
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 33 years
- Age relaxation is available for reserved categories, women candidates, ex-servicemen, and persons with disabilities as per government rules.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have Higher Secondary (12th pass) in Science Stream from a recognized board.
- Must have basic knowledge of computer applications.
- Must have knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi language.
Salary
- During the first 5 years: ₹26,000/- per month (fixed pay)
- After 5 years: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-2, 7th Pay Matrix)
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection will be based on a Competitive Written Examination (MCQ type).
Exam Pattern:
- Part-A (60 Marks)
- Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation – 30 Marks
- Numerical Ability – 30 Marks
- Part-B (150 Marks)
- Indian Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension – 30 Marks
- Subject-related Questions – 120 Marks
Total Time: 3 Hours
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
Application Fee
- General Category (Male): ₹500/-
- Reserved Categories, Women, PwD, Ex-Servicemen: ₹400/-
- Fee to be paid online via Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Wallets.
- Fee will be refunded to candidates who appear in the exam.
