Granthalay Clerk Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, ensure you meet the educational and age requirements as of 30/12/2025.
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science or Library Science from a recognized university.
- Basic knowledge of Computer Application as per rules.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
2. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- Relaxation: 5 years for Reserved Categories (Male) & General Women; 10 years for Reserved Category Women.

Library Clerk Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed pay for the first five years.

- After 5 years of satisfactory service, they are eligible for the regular pay scale of Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200).

The selection will be based on a Computer Based Response Test (CBRT). The exam is divided into two parts.
