GSSSB Police Photographer Syllabus

• આ પરીક્ષાનું પ્રશ્નપત્ર બે ભાગમાં હશે. ભાગ-A અને ભાગ-B.
• ભાગ-A 60 માર્ક્સના પ્રશ્ન હશે. જ્યારે ભાગ- B કુલ 150 માર્ક્સના પ્રશ્ન પુછવામાં આવશે.

PART: A (60 Marks)

(1)Constitution of India (10 Questions, 10 Marks)

1. Preamble of the Constitution
2. Fundamental rights
3. Directive principles of state policy
4. Fundamental Duty
5. Power, role and responsibility of President, vice president and
   governor
6. Parliamentary system
7. Amendment of Indian constitution, emergency provisions in
   Indian constitution
8. Centre – State Government and their relation
9. Judicial System of Indian Constitution
10. Constitutional body

(2)Current Affairs (10 Questions, 10 Marks)

1. Current events of state, national and international importance

(3)Comprehension (Gujarati {5 marks} & English {5 marks})

1. to assess comprehension, interpretation and inference skills
   A paragraph given with set of question on the basis of paragraph
   Or statement and assertion type question can be asked

(4) Questions and Its Applications related to Technical Qualification (120 Questions, 120 Marks)

1. Basics of Digital Photography (Definitions, principles and History): Camera
   operations, shutter speed, histograms, depth of field, white balance, long exposures,
   focus and time lapse photography as well as detailed information on different types of
   camera lenses.
2. Types of Photography: Portrait Photography, Landscape Photography, Macro
   Photography, Micro Photography, Documentary Photography.
3. Cameras:
    Different parts of camera and their functions
    Camera Accessories
    Types of camera: Classifications of cameras, Focusing arrangements, viewfinder
   systems: 35mm compact, 35mm, SLR, DSLR, T20 Film type TLR and SLR instant
   cameras-large format cameras and digital cameras.
    Main controls on a camera: Parts of camera, types of lenses, shutter, Diaphragm
   Exposure, Film and digital image sensor.
4. Depth of field: Lightning, Photography with Flash, Filters in photography.
5. Digital cameras:
    Process of digital imaging
   Types of digital cameras
   Menu operations of digital cameras
    Introduction to colours
6. Aesthetic of photography:
   Definition and principle of lightings, light characteristics, reflection, colour, direct/
   indirect light, natural and artificial light and light sources
    Principle of visualization, composition guidelines
7. Types of Lenses: Prime lens, Zoom lens, Macro lens, Micro lens, Fish-eye lens, WideAngle lens, Telephoto lens, Tilt-Shift lens, Standard lens.
8. Tools & Equipment’s: Camera kits and equipment’s, metering, focus, manual settingups composition, lens, focal length, image resolution and more
9. Composition of photography and videography
10. Basics of Operating a video camera
11. Process of Digital Imaging
12. Current Trends and Recent Advancements in the Above Fields.

(1) Part-A માં તમામ પ્રશ્નો ગુજરાતીમાં રહેશે.

(2) Part-B માં ગુજરાતી કોમ્પ્રીહેન્સનના પ્રશ્નો ગુજરાતીમાં અને અંગ્રેજી કોમ્પ્રીહેન્સનના પ્રશ્નો અંગ્રેજીમાં તેમજ શૈક્ષણિક લાયકાતને સંબંધિત વિષય અને તેની ઉપયોગીતાને લગતા પ્રશ્નો ગુજરાતી ભાષામાં રહેશે.
