GSSSB Operation Theatre Assistant Recruitment 2025 : Qualification

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 35 years (relaxation as per govt. rules for women, reserved, PwD, and ex-servicemen).

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

• Diploma in Operation Theatre Techniques / Technician, OR
• 1-year Certificate Course in Operation Theatre Technology, OR
• B.Sc. in Medical Technology (Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology) from a recognized university.

Additional Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi language.

Salary / Pay Scale

• Fixed Pay: ₹26,000/- per month (for first 5 years).
• After completion of 5 years, eligible for 7th Pay Commission Level-2 Pay Scale (₹19,900 – ₹63,200).

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a Written Examination (OMR/CBRT).

Exam Pattern:

• Part A: 60 Marks (Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Maths)
• Part B: 150 Marks (GK, Current Affairs, Constitution, English/Gujarati Comprehension, Subject-related questions)
• Total: 210 Marks
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
• Exam Duration: 3 Hours
