Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification and relevant post-qualification experience for one of the notified trades under the Medical and Nursing Group.
Medical Laboratory Technology – Pathology
Candidates must possess either:
- Bachelor of Science in or with Microbiology and one year of post-qualification experience in the relevant field; or
- A minimum two-year Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician with two years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
Old Age Care
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery from a UGC-recognised university with one year of post-qualification experience;
- A minimum two-year Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery from a recognised board with two years of post-qualification experience; or
- SSC or equivalent with CITS/NCIC in the Old Age Care trade and three years of post-qualification experience.
Health Sanitary Inspector
Candidates must possess either:
- A minimum one-year Diploma in Sanitary Inspector from a recognised university with two years of post-qualification experience; or
- SSC or equivalent with CITS/NCIC in the Health Sanitary Inspector trade and three years of post-qualification experience.
Radiology Technician
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technician or Radiation Therapy Technician from an AICTE/UGC-recognised institution with one year of post-qualification experience;
- A minimum two-year Diploma in Radiology Technician from an AICTE-recognised board of technical education with two years of post-qualification experience; or
- SSC or equivalent with CITS/NCIC in the Radiology Technician trade and three years of post-technical qualification experience.
